Corrective Treatments
~Chemical Peels ~Microdermabrasion
Skin Script’s professional peels successfully treat melasma and hyperpigmentation on Fitzpatricks 1-6 (specializing in darker skin tones) The natural fruit enzymes and peels are formulated with natural lighteners, kojic and arbutin.
*Peels can produce mild to medium peeling within 3-4 days.
Post peel and can last for up to 7-10 days.
If you are using any prescription products (like Differin, Retin-A, etc) discontinue their use 3-4 days before and 3-4 days after glycolic acid and lactic acid peels.
Discontinue their use for 5 days before and 10 days after TCA peels.
Cranberry Turnover Peel for Acne (Ideal for oily, acneic skin)
Exfoliate and reduce oil with a 20% salicylic cranberry creamy peel. This aggressive mixture helps to resurface and refine skin and pores, remove oil and debris and protect from bacterial infections. *Not recommended for sensitive or rosacea skin types.
30% Glycolic Peel (All skin types)
Glycolic Acid is the Alpha-Hydroxy Acid (AHA) derived from sugar cane, so it can be considered a natural product. Glycolic Acid works as an exfoliating agent because of its high acidity. Effectively addresses the adverse signs of aging such as fine lines, wrinkles and photodamage. The sophisticated concentration of alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) stimulates the superficial epidermis thus encouraging collagen production and restoring a more youthful, even-toned and healthy appearance.
20% Lactic Peel (All skin types)
Lactic Acid Is a milk-based ingredient that is great for hydrating and exfoliating the skin gently. Skin brighteners like Kojic and Arbutin are blended with Lactic Acid for a superb lightening and brightening effect to reduce sun spots, brown spots and the redness caused by rosacea. A Lactic Peel is excellent for re-texturing acne scarring, hyper-pigmentation, environmentally damaged, and dehydrated skin.
Skin Lighting and Retexturing Treatment Series
This treatment series is excellent for all skin tones and types except for super sensitive and rosacea skin types. Great for hyperpigmentation, Melasma, Acne Scarring, overall Anti-Aging and Anti-Acne with minimal to no downtime.
Uses 10% TCA (tricloracetic acid) Depigmentation Peel
Anti-aging, hyperpigmentation, scarring, acne
(Ingedients include 15% Azelaic, 5% Arbutin and 2% Kojic to address pigmentation issues (melasma and hyper-pigmentation). It is also great for re-texturizing the skin and managing acne. This peel is regulated by the number of layers applied to the skin. You will see improvement of skin tone, reducing acne, and re-texturizing skin.
